Mufti Muhammad Najeeb Khan is a distinguished Shariah scholar with extensive expertise in Islamic jurisprudence, Islamic finance, and Halal regulatory governance. Mufti Muhammad Najeeb Khan currently serves as the Chairperson of the Shariah Board of HabibMetro SIRAT. In addition, Mufti Muhammad Najeeb Khan serves as the Chairperson of Bank Makramah Limited and as a Shariah Board member at Faysal Bank Limited, having previously served as a Shariah Board member at Habib Bank AG Zurich Dubai and Sindh Bank.

Mufti Muhammad Najeeb Khan holds an M.Phil. degree in Islamic Studies and a Takhassus Fil Iftaa—a postgraduate degree of specialization in Islamic Jurisprudence and Islamic Finance—from Jamia Darul Uloom, Karachi. Mufti Muhammad Najeeb Khan also serves as the Vice Chairman of the Shariah Supervisory Council of Al Hilal Shariah Advisors.

Furthermore, Mufti Muhammad Najeeb Khan contributes in advisory capacities to the Hira Foundation School, the Hira Institute of Emerging Sciences, and the Centre for Islamic Economics. As an active member of numerous national and international Shariah and Halal regulatory bodies, Mufti Muhammad Najeeb Khan has served as the Chairman of the Shariah Board of the Halal Awareness and Research Council. As a seasoned educator and trainer, Mufti Muhammad Najeeb Khan also delivers professional training programs and lectures at leading institutions, including NIBAF (State Bank of Pakistan), IBA Karachi, the University of Karachi, and the OIC Halal Committee.

Mufti Khawaja Noor ul Hassan, is an eminent Shariah scholar, Islamic banking practitioner, legal professional, corporate governance expert, Islamic banking trainer, and visiting faculty member with over 18 years of professional experience, including more than 15 years in Islamic banking and finance. He is a Registered Shariah Advisor with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) and a Certified Director under the SECP Code of Corporate Governance. Internationally, he serves as Senior Research Consultant at the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI). He is also a Working Group Member of the AAOIFI Governance & Ethics Board (AGEB) and SBP AAOIFI Shariah Standards Committee.

Mufti Noor possesses both contemporary & religious qualifications. He holds the Shahadat-ul-Aalamia, Takhassus fil-Ifta (Specialization in Islamic Jurisprudence and Fatwa), Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB), Master’s degree in Islamic Studies, and Master’s degree in Islamic History.

His professional career encompasses leadership, advisory, and specialist roles across Faysal Bank Limited, Standard Chartered Bank (Pakistan), Meezan Bank Limited, and Emirates Global Islamic Bank (now Al Baraka Bank Pakistan Limited), complemented by professional experience in corporate law and governance.

His expertise spans Shariah governance, AAOIFI standards, Islamic banking regulations, product development and structuring, syndicated and project finance, Islamic legal documentation, Shariah audits, corporate governance, system development, policy formulation, Shariah audits, conversion of conventional banking operations into Shariah-compliant Islamic banking, regulatory advisory, and institutional capacity building.

He has vast teaching experience of religious and Islamic banking courses in different institutions such as in Jamia Yousufia Binnoria, AAOIFI, IBA Centre for Excellence in Islamic Finance, NIBAF–SBP, ICMA Pakistan, NED University, the Centre of Islamic Economics (a division of Jamia Darul Uloom Karachi), and other leading institutions.

Through his combination of classical Shariah scholarship, legal qualifications, regulatory engagement, academic contributions, and extensive industry experience, Mufti Khawaja Noor ul Hassan has established himself as a respected authority and thought leader, actively contributing to the advancement and standardization of Islamic banking and finance at both national and international levels.

Mufti Abdul Sattar Laghari is a distinguished Shariah Board Member at HABIBMETRO SIRAT with extensive experience in Islamic banking and finance, Takaful, and Non-Banking Financial Institutions (NBFIs) since 2005. The academic background of Mufti Abdul Sattar Laghari includes comprehensive religious studies in the Quran, Hadith, and Fiqh from Jamia Darul-Uloom, Karachi, along with a specialization in Islamic jurisprudence from Darul Ifta wal Irshad.

Additionally, Mufti Abdul Sattar Laghari has pursued various certifications in banking and finance, including the Certified Director Program under the SECP Code of Corporate Governance through the Institute of Business Administration, Karachi. Mufti Abdul Sattar Laghari has played a pivotal role in guiding and overseeing numerous projects aimed at transitioning from conventional to Islamic banking.

The expertise of Mufti Abdul Sattar Laghari extends to being a seasoned trainer in Islamic banking and finance, leading various courses across Pakistan through several esteemed platforms, including the National Institute of Banking and Finance (NIBAF) and the Centre of Islamic Economics, which operates under the supervision of notable Islamic Scholar Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani.Currently, Mufti Abdul Sattar Laghari is also involved in teaching at Madrasah Al Burhan in Karachi. The contributions of Mufti Abdul Sattar Laghari to the field include serving on sub-committees for reviewing AAOIFI Shariah standards at the State Bank of Pakistan. Mufti Abdul Sattar Laghari has authored two books and has provided Shariah advisory services to several financial institutions, including the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP), First Habib Modaraba, First National Bank Modaraba, KASB Modaraba, Standard Chartered Modaraba, and the NBFI Modaraba Association.

Mufti Shahzaib Rajper

Mufti Shahzaib Rajper is amongst the young talent of Shariah scholar and Islamic finance professional with almost a decade of experience. His areas of strength include Shariah governance and advisory, risk and compliance, product structuring, and training.

He has also served as a Shariah Compliance Officer at a reputable bank, where he was responsible for ensuring end-to-end Shariah compliance across banking operations and supporting the structuring and development of Islamic financial products. He has also contributed to academia as a visiting faculty member at various universities, teaching Islamic finance and Islamic jurisprudence.

He holds Takhasus fil Ifta (specialization in Islamic Banking & Finance) from Darul Uloom Memon, Karachi, and Shahadat-ul-Aalamiyyah from Tanzeem-ul-Madaris, Lahore. He also earned a Master’s degree in Islamic Studies and Arabic from the University of Karachi and is currently pursuing his PhD in Islamic Banking and Finance.

He is a Certified Islamic Finance Executive (CIFE) from Ethica Institute and an AAOIFI Certified Shariah Advisor and Auditor (CSAA). He also holds certifications from the National Institute of Banking and Finance (NIBAF) and a Diploma in International Trade from the IBA Center for Executive Education.

Mufti Rajper actively participates to the advancement of the Islamic finance industry through the development of e-learning programs, delivery of specialized training initiatives, and publications in peer-reviewed journals. He has also contributed to emerging areas such as ESG and Islamic finance alignment, digitalization in Islamic finance, and promoting excellence within the Islamic financial services industry through AI based research tools.
