Ms. Tushna Kandawalla is the Chief Executive Officer of Captain PQ Chemical Industries (CPQ), a leading manufacturer in Pakistan’s chemical sector. She has been associated with the company since 2004 and brings over 20 years of leadership experience in manufacturing, finance, strategy, and corporate governance. Prior to joining CPQ, she worked at Home Box Office (HBO) in New York and Arthur Andersen LLP in Boston, USA.
She previously served as an Independent Director on the Board of Pakistan Oxygen Limited and has also served on the Executive Committee of the American Business Council and on the Board of Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) Pakistan. In addition, she is actively involved in the non-profit sector and currently serves as a trustee of iCare Fund America, Developments in Literacy (DIL), The Captain Foundation, and The Noorani Foundation.
Ms. Kandawalla holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Brown University, USA, and a Master of Business Administration from Boston University, USA. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Board Director from the Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance.
